The investment you make in your personal fine art portraits is something that will live on for generations to come. Thank you so much for considering Amy Larsen Photography! I am eager and excited to capture memories for you. What goes into a session? I'm glad you asked. Each 1- 1 1/2 hr session is tailored around you and your unique personality. I want to get to know you so I can truly capture what is on the inside and present it to you on the outside! We will spend time finding the right location for the look you want. Stressed about what to wear? No problem, I will help guide you in deciding what really represents your personal taste. Each session I do with clients includes edited and retouched images in your gallery that really sets your portraits apart.

 

What do I retouch? I will retouch any blemishes or scenery that doesn't add to your images in a beautiful and creative way, at my discretion. Woke up with a pimple the morning of the photoshoot? Dont worry about it! I have you covered. Did your little one fall the day before and will be sporting a bruise the day of your session? Stuff happens! I'm on it. I know these images will be treasured by your family for generations and I wouldn't let that stop us from presenting the best you. What I do not retouch is permanent parts of you that make you who you are, you are beautiful! I dont take away birthmarks or retouch weight. I dont think those things take away from your beauty in any way, and I hope you don't either. Be kind to yourself! I spend about 12 hrs with each client making their images the art that it is!

Before your gallery is ready to view, go through your home and visualize where you would like your images to be presented, this will help you when ordering your prints. take measurements, or snap a picture on your phone and email it to me, and I can make suggestions as well. Think about the colors that would work with your aesthetic. This will help us choose the right location and also help when deciding what to wear.

All of your prints will be printed by a professional lab. The editing I do is calibrated to the printers color specifications and will print true to the intended look. Some packages or purchase options may include a disk, please note that consumer printing machines are not as advanced and often tweak coloring based off the standard machine settings of that company, I cannot guarantee correct color accuracy when you print your images this way. Digitals are a wonderful way to share with family and friends, but to get the most of your images I highly reccomend professional printing. When we meet I will show you exactly what I mean, the difference is astonishing! I ask you to please consider this when planning your investment.
