Summer in Paris

This summer my lifelong dream of visiting Paris came true. I only had a few short days there as my husband had work to do in England while we were there but they were as magical and lovely as I could ever have imagined them, if not more! My last night in Paris, in true photographer form, I set out to photograph the Eiffel Tower as the sun set then, as the lights came on, and finally in the dark while the twinkling lights came on. Its a city that sparkles! does it really get any better?! Earlier in the day I had visited the tower to scope out vantage points and decided I would shoot from across the Siene river. So Jake and I found a lovely little spot across the river, where there were no other people besides the occaisional passerby, it felt as if we had it to ourselves. It was the most serene and lovely next few hours I can recall. The tower was gorgeous in the various stages of light and I'd love to share my favorite image of the night with you all. Prints are available to purchase, please contact me for pricing.
